CinexTech is committed to publishing accurate, well-researched, and genuinely useful content for US readers. This page describes the standards and processes our editorial team follows from topic selection through publication and ongoing updates.

Our Editorial Mission

Every article on CinexTech is written to help readers make better-informed decisions — about their pets, their insurance coverage, emerging technology, or science topics. We do not publish content to game search rankings, fill pages, or promote advertisers. If an article does not clearly help a specific reader with a specific question, we do not publish it.

Topic Selection

Topics are selected based on three criteria:

1. Reader need: Is there a real question US readers are asking that we can answer more thoroughly, accurately, or practically than what currently exists?
2. Author expertise match:Do we have a writer with genuine knowledge in this area? We do not publish outside our authors' subject-matter competencies.
3. Verifiability:Can the article's central claims be supported by primary sources, published research, official data, or direct professional experience?

We do not publish content on medical diagnosis, legal advice, financial planning, or professional services. Articles in adjacent areas (pet health, insurance products) are informational only and include disclaimers directing readers to qualified professionals. See our Disclaimer.

Research Standards

Before writing begins, our authors research each topic using primary and secondary sources including:

• Government and regulatory data: USDA, CDC, FDA, state insurance department filings, AKC breed health surveys
• Industry research: NAPHIA (North American Pet Health Insurance Association) annual reports, AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) guidelines, ACVIM veterinary consensus statements
• Academic publications: Peer-reviewed studies accessed via PubMed, Google Scholar, and institutional repositories
• Company and product documentation: Official pricing pages, policy documents, product release notes, and public financial filings
• Expert commentary: Statements from licensed professionals (veterinarians, insurance brokers, technology specialists) used with attribution

Statistics and numerical claims are cited inline or in a source note at the article level. We do not use unverifiable statistics. If a claim cannot be traced to a primary source, it is rewritten as an approximation or removed.

Author Qualifications

Each article is written by a specialist in the relevant topic area. Our authors are assigned to categories based on their professional background and knowledge. Author credentials, areas of coverage, and bios are published on each author's profile page.

Authors disclose any material conflicts of interest relevant to articles they publish. Authors with financial relationships to products or companies they cover are required to note this within the article.

Fact-Checking Process

Before publication, each article is reviewed for:

• Factual accuracy of all statistics, dates, product names, and company information
• Consistency with current regulations, guidelines, or official recommendations
• Internal consistency (no contradictions between sections)
• Appropriate hedging of uncertain or time-sensitive claims

We aim to be accurate, not sensational. If a topic is genuinely uncertain in the research literature, our articles reflect that uncertainty rather than overstating a conclusion.

AI-Assisted Writing Policy

CinexTechauthors may use AI writing tools as research aids — to summarize large documents, check grammar, or explore angles. All published content is reviewed, edited, and takes final form under the responsible author's judgment. We do not publish unreviewed AI-generated text. Authors are accountable for the accuracy and quality of every article published under their name.

Update and Correction Policy

Updates:We review articles when regulations change, products are discontinued, new research is published, or pricing data becomes materially outdated. Updated articles display a revised “Updated” date at the top. Substantive content changes are noted within the article where appropriate.

Corrections: If you believe an article contains a factual error, please contact us at contact@cinextech.com with the article URL and the specific claim you believe is incorrect, along with supporting documentation. We review correction requests within 5 business days and publish a correction note in the article if warranted.

Advertising Independence

Advertisers — including Google AdSense display advertisers — have no influence over our editorial content, rankings, or recommendations. Ad placements are automatically served and do not represent editorial endorsement. Articles are never written, modified, or suppressed in response to advertiser relationships.
